Festival de Dreux
1ère édition
Officiellement le Festival de Dreux est né en 2020. Il s'appelait DREUX EN SHORT. Il n'a pas pu avoir lieu à cause de la crise sanitaire.
La thématique était alors "ouverte" à tous les domaines. Nous avons reçu près de 400 films.
C'est dire le succès pour une première édition !

Une fois la sélection effectuée, nous avons, évidemment, informé les réalisateurs/trices. Il nous a paru inimaginable d'annuler cette sélection de 2020 bien qu'entre temps une nouvelle thématique ait émergé pour 2021 : "HISTOIRES DE FEMMES".

In fine pour sa première édition et de façon exceptionnelle le Festival de Dreux c'est donc la fusion de deux années (2020 et 2021) avec une sélection "DREUX EN SHORT" et une sélection "HISTOIRES DE FEMMES".
​
"HISTOIRES DE FEMMES" sera, à partir de 2022, la seule ligne éditoriale du Festival de Dreux.

Depuis le phénomène #metoo, je me demande comment je peux apporter ma pierre à l’édifice sans animosité, sans prendre les armes. Je pense avoir trouvé avec la création du FESTIVAL DE DREUX. Militant, festif, interactif, grand public HISTOIRES DE FEMMES donne le premier rôle à la gente féminine et j’en suis fière ! Venez et vous verrez que les femmes sont l’avenir du cinéma. Et j’ai envie de leur dire : « Mesdames, filmez, filmez, il en restera toujours quelque chose ».
